In addition to the program at Dayspring, there are a wealth of recreational activities to engage in while resting between sessions. Whether you are the active type or the relaxing type, there will always be something available for you. 


Swimming

Make sure to bring your bathing suit & towel because there is a swimming pool available on the property! On a hot afternoon it feels great to take a dip into the pool with your friends. Please note, children must be accompanied by an adult in the pool areas.


Hiking

A hiking group will venture out into the beautiful surrounding landscape to enjoy the natural mountains, grasslands, rivers, and forestry. The length of the trip is decided by those in attendance and typically range from 30 minutes to 60 minutes. No need to have fancy hiking shoes, just bring your walking shoes and you will be good to go! 


For those of us that like an afternoon tea, there are lovely lounges in which friends may gather together to enjoy a light beverage and engage in elevated conversations.

In addition to the activities listed above, many times friends will gather to play cards, practice yoga or tai chi, go for a morning run, use the exercise room, gather for prayers in the morning & at night before bed, evening s’mores and much much more!
