Information on the Bahá’í Faith and other schools

This summer school session is "planned by the Dayspring
Bahá’í School Committee an agency of the National
Spiritual Assembly of the United States"

Welcome July 4th - July 8th

Now in its 28th year, Dayspring is one of 32 National Bahá’í Schools sponsored by the National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of the United States. We offer an enriching, family-oriented summer school experience combining a balance of devotion, study and recreation. Our mission is to carry on "the divine work of bringing forth jewels from the mine of humanity."

This year's theme "Deveolping Capacity to Serve the Cause and Humanity" centers around Abdu’l-Bahá.

One activity that you can do in preparation for summer is follow 239 Days in America. This is a day by day account of Abdu’l-Bahá’s travels in America.

Location
Dayspring Bahá’í School is nestled in the beautiful mountain surroundings of Western Maryland at Frostburg State University. Frostburg is a quiet university town just west of Cumberland. Temperatures are noticeably cooler here, and evenings in early July may require a sweater. The campus is quite hilly, so be sure to bring comfortable shoes.

From Virginia: Take 1-81 North to 1-70 West.
From Baltimore: Take 1-70 West.
